Telephone Calls

We urge you to call with questions you may have concerning your health care; however, it would be unfair to other patients if the provider were to disrupt treatment to answer every phone call. Our staff is trained to answer most questions. If your call requires that the provider speak with you, please leave a message and the provider will return your call at the earliest opportunity. For non-urgent questions, please allow 24 hours for a provider to return your call.

Referrals

If you participate with a Managed Care Health Plan, we suggest you check with our office prior to obtaining an appointment for studies or consultation with a specialist. Please allow your insurance company at least 72 hours for processing.

Diagnostic results

Results of most Laboratory or other Diagnostic Tests will be available to you within ten days of the test date. In most cases, we will notify you of test results within that time or in cases requiring urgent notification, we will notify you sooner. If you have not received notification of results within 14 days, call us at (719) 634-8891.
